What our Clients are saying

“Through my work with Courageous Families, I found my voice."

I learned how to live more in alignment with who I am and what I know to be true, while still staying connected to the people I love, even when those relationships are challenging. Most importantly, I found the courage to step into adulthood, take responsibility for myself, and trust that I can navigate difficult things without losing who I am.”

Our Mission

Our mission is to help individuals and families connect, heal, and transform through courageous, relationship-centred work. We build understanding, strengthen capacity, and empower people to meet life with greater connection, responsibility, and courage.  Our mission is to create meaningful and lasting change.

The Heart of Courage

The word courage comes from the Latin cor, meaning heart.

We think of courage as the capacity to live from your centre.  To know what matters, stay connected to yourself and others, and stand in your core when life gets difficult.

Our work helps individuals and families find their way back to that centre.  Reconnecting with their strengths, values, relationships, and capacity for growth; and learning how to stay there when life gets hard.
